Mike Winkelmann aka Beeple keeps on churning on the big sales. Christie’s auctioned off his “Human One” artwork (shown above) for $28.9M. Ryan Zurrer, a Swiss venture capitalist, purchased it. [Singularity Hub]
“Human One” is a life-sized 3D video sculpture, which Beeple describes as “the first portrait of a human born in the metaverse.”
Beeple has the record for the highest single NFT sale at $69M for his “Everydays” collage, also at Christie’s auction in March 2021.
