The NFT world is getting wilder by the day. The Sandbox Game, a metaverse world, just sold a virtual yacht titled The Metaflower Super Mega Yacht for 149 ETH ($650,000 USD). At that price you can buy two real yachts, with change left over.
Republic Realm is the developer of The Sandbox. According to Hypebeast, it is “currently one of the leading metaverse games boasting collaborations with brands and personalities such as adidas, Atari, Bored Ape Yacht Club, Binance, Snoop Dogg, The Smurfs, DeadMau5 and others.”
The creator describes it: “The Metaflower is a one of one ultra luxury megayacht. With a DJ booth, helicopter landing pad, and hot tub, among other amenities, this Fantasy Collection NFT provides access to The Fantasy Marina and is designed to be the crown jewel of The Sandbox.”
