- Gary Vaynerchuk, the media/NFT entrepreneur and mastermind behind the ever so popular “Vee Friends” NFTs, was in the Christmas spirit. He bought a bunch of NFTs from the Alien Frens, Women and Weapons, and Shaq NFT collections. Then he gave them all away for free to people who had no NFTs or who supported NFTs that Gary Vee wanted to recognize.
- The entrepreneur is known as “Gary Vee.” His bio says:
- “Gary Vaynerchuk is the chairman of VaynerX, a modern-day media and communications holding company, and the active CEO of VaynerMedia, a full-service advertising agency servicing Fortune 100 clients across the company’s 5 locations.
- “In the late 90s, after identifying ‘the internet’ as a land-grab opportunity, Gary transitioned his father’s local liquor store into one of the first wine e-commerce platforms resulting in growing the family business from $3-60MM in sales during a 5-year period.”
- Gary Vee publicly replied to 15 of the winners. But it looks like he gave other NFTs away too, such as Alien Frens NFTs. One person received Gary Vee’s token “Ambitious Angel,” which “is verifiable for admission to VeeCon 2022, 2023, 2024.” Someone has already put in an offer for the NFT for over $30,000.
