Quentin Tarantino will drop Pulp Fiction NFTs, registration opens Jan. 10 on Secret Network, despite Miramax lawsuit

  • Back in November 2021, Quentin Tarantino announced that he was creating NFTs from uncut scenes and original handwritten scripts from Pulp Fiction, plus audio commentary by him.
  • Miramax, the owner of the copyright to Pulp Fiction, promptly sued Tarantino. (Our analysis here.)
  • Well, that’s not stopping Tarantino from dropping his NFTs, which will occur through the Secret Network. Registration for the drop opens on Jan. 10.
  • This is shaping up to be a big legal battle. Too bad. In the words of Marsellus Wallace, “If you mean it gets better with age, it don’t.”
