- On Wednesday, December 14, 2022, Stephen Boss aka “tWitch” committed suicide at age 40. He leaves behind his wife, Allison Holker, and three children.
- Boss is best known as the extraordinary dancer, who rose to national fame through the hit TV show “So You Think You Can Dance?,” after trying out three times. Boss later met Holker in Season 7 of the show in 2005. They reportedly started dating after the show ended that season, and later married in 2013 at their friend Nigel Lythgoe’s (one of the show’s judge’s) winery in Paso Robles.
- From 2014 to 2022, tWitch was the sidekick and DJ on the Ellen show. tWitch brought incredible energy, dance, and joy to the Ellen show. Anyone who watched the show had to feel better by tWitch’s dynamic presence.
- Less well-known is that tWitch was a big NFT and Web3 enthusiast. He used NFTs as his pfps on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. We’ve included below some of our favorite tWitch words of wisdom.
We don’t know what led to tWitch’s tragic death. But we do know that the world is darker without tWitch’s radiance, a soul who brought so much joy to others. His dancing was a gift to us all.
